PINGO is a biannual fine art magazine based in Amsterdam. The magazine is published by kinder buenos, a non-profit organization devoted to contemporary art.
PINGO is distributed throughout Europe with its base in the Netherlands. It is comparable to other international photography titles such as Boris in Germany, Camera Austria and Katalog in Denmark.
The first issue was published in 2007 dealing then with drawings, book reviews and photojournalism. Since 2010 it is primarily concerned with fine art. In January 2011 PINGO relaunched in a new format.

Artists' Book Not Artists' Book is an exhibition co-curated by Johan Kugelberg and Jeremy Sanders. In it are about one hundred books and of course all of them either are, or are not, artists’ books, but whether it is even possible to say which ones fall into which category is a matter that's not entirely clear. And in any case, it's likely no two viewers would draw exactly the same conclusions.

Atem Books is 100% independent!
We don’t receive any external money. This project survives with the earns we do selling our publications.

The International Society of Copier Artists (I.S.C.A) was a non-profit group founded by Louise Neaderland in 1981, intended to promote the work of copier artists and to advocate for the recognition of copier art as a legitimate form. The group is best known for producing The I.S.C.A Quarterly as well as for coordinating exhibitions of xerographic artwork, and the distribution of "The I.S.C.A Newsletter". Women made up the majority of society's membership.
The I.S.C.A. Quarterly was published from 1982-2003. Typically, issues were produced in limited editions of 200 copies, with an average of 45 pages of original copier art supplied by I.S.C.A. members. Over the years the form of the Quarterly mutated from a collection of unbound pages to a spiral bound journal with an Annual Bookworks Edition composed of a box of books made by I.S.C.A. members. The work produced for the Quarterly ranged widely in focus from social and political issues to personal and emotional themes. The final issue (Volume 21, #4) was published in June 2003.

BAU was founded in 2004 in Viareggio, on the coast of Tuscany, by a group of artists and individuals interested in the many-sided aspects of the culture of our times. Thanks to a widespread and constantly expanding network of contacts, every year the project takes the shape of an expressly designed UniA4 sized box: BAU container of contemporary culture. This non-profit box is produced in a limited edition of 150 copies (120 for issue 1 and 200 for issues 9-10) and contains original works, signed and numbered, from a large number of international contributors.
The BAU container fits in the vast tradition of assembling publications and artists‘ magazines that developed since the early sixties. It intends to experiment with new languages, technologies and materials, operating in a peculiar dimension of group work that is open also to contributions from non-artists: outsiders, travellers, collectors of curiosities, creative gastronomers, anomalous scientists.
In a relational and non competitive perspective that is responsive to the relationships between art and science, politics and environment, BAU acts as a meeting point in order to stimulate dialogues, interactions and exchanges among the most diverse disciplines: graphics, collage, photography and the visual arts in general, but also poetical and narrative researches, acoustic and performative experiences, documents pertaining the fields of fashion and design, etc. The operative network expresses itself also through the planning of exhibitions, meetings, festivals and events, organized in institutional spaces (libraries, galleries, museums) and in atypic locations.

Oda Projesi is an artist collective based in Istanbul; composed of Özge Açıkkol, Güneş Savaş and Seçil Yersel who turned their collaboration into a project in 2000. From January 2000, their space in Galata functioned as a non-profit independent space, hosting projects, gatherings and acts up until march 16th2005, when Oda Projesi was evicted from the apartment due to the process of gentrification. Since then Oda Projesi has a mobile status and not any more space based; continues to raise questions on space and place creating relationship models by using different mediums like radio stations, books, postcards, newspapers or giving form to different meeting points; depending on and respecting to the creativity of Istanbul and its citizens.

Junge Kunst- und Kulturschaffende der Landeshauptstadt München sind vom Eigentümer der Tegernseer Landstr. 93 angefragt worden die Räumlichkeiten des ehemaligen Gasthauses „Alt Giesing“ im Rahmen einer Kunstaktion und unentgeltlich zwischen zu nutzen.
Die Mitwirkenden begreifen diesen transformierten Ort der ehemaligen Gaststätte „Alt Giesing“ deshalb weder als Kneipe/Boaz`n, oder auch Event/Vergnügungsstätte, sondern vielmehr als ein Ort, an dem sich verschiedenste Subkulturen und Gesellschaftsschichten der Stadt begegnen und austauschen können. Ein Ort, an dem sich selbstbestimmt gesellschaftliche Strukturen entwickeln, sich Netzwerke neu knüpfen und auf diese Weise erweitern, sich gegenseitig inspirieren.
Ziel des „Temporären Archiv der Gegenwart“ ist es, diese Prozesse in Bild, Ton und Text festzuhalten, um sie anschließend im Rahmen des „VistVunk“ Verlags – ein von der Stadt München geförderter non-Profit Künstlerbuchverlag – zu publizieren.

Die von Jürgen O. Olbrich kuratierte Ausstellung „Caution: Artists! – Textbotschaften in der Kunst“ vereint erstmals in dieser Form poetisch-prägnante Sprachbotschaften bildender Künstler, die als Teil ihres künstlerischen Werkes entstanden sind. Sprache, Texte, Worte, Buchstaben sind Baumaterial für visuell-textuelle Mitteilungen: Wichtig ist in diesen Werken die poetische Information (Idee und Konzept), nicht die Materialität. Die Information selbst wirkt und öffnet einen individuellen Denkraum.
Der Kunsttempel ist europaweit einer der wichtigsten Orte, an denen Sprachkunst kontinuierlich präsentiert wird. „Caution: Artists!“ zeigt Textbotschaften von international renommierten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus den letzten 25 Jahren. Und weil Sprache sich immer selbst vervielfältigt, zeigt die Ausstellung konsequent nur Kunstwerke, die in Auflage erschienen sind: Editionen, Multiples, Give-aways, Flaggen, Buttons, Postkarten, Poster, Schilder, T-Shirts, Seifen, Visitenkarten, Skulpturen etc. Alles kann Botschaften transportieren!

Die Vorzugsausgabe enthält 14 Give-aways, die eigentlich den Besuchern mitgegeben werden sollten, was aber wegen Corona nicht erlaubt war. So wurden sie nur in einer Vitrine gezeigt und abschließend in einen Umschlag versammelt als Vorzugsausgabe dem Katalog beigegeben.

Schwaz ist eine Kleinstadt in Tirol, deren Entwicklung und Wohlstand eng mit dem Abbau von Silber zusammenhängt. Im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert erfolgten bis zu 85 Prozent des globalen Silberabbaus der damals bekannten Welt in Schwaz. Ausgehend von der historischen Prägung des Ortes durch den Bergbau, und dem Fokus der Klasse auf die Reflexion von Material und den sozioökonomischen Bedingungen unter denen es hervorgebracht wird, schafft die Ausstellung einen Rahmen für die Auseinandersetzung mit der Politik des Abbaus von Ressourcen und zusammenhängenden Themen wie menschlicher Arbeit, Kolonialismus, und Landschaftspolitik. Gleichzeitig werden Parallelen zu jüngeren Phänomenen des „minings“ ausgelotet, speziell zu der der „digital economy“ inhärenten Extraktion von Daten und persönlichen Informationen zur Generierung von Profit.
